For a single annual fee of £90, you can rest easy knowing your jewellery is protected against life’s little accidents.
This one-year policy is an extra layer of reassurance. Should your jewellery be damaged accidentally within the year, we will repair it for you with no additional charges. This cover is our way of making sure the sparkle never fades, giving you true peace of mind. Please note, this is a separate policy from your lifetime manufacturing warranty and only applies to pieces purchased from The Cornish Diamond Co.
Important Details
The Annual Workshop Cover protects your ring from accidental damage, but it does not include the loss of any stones over 0.35ct. It also does not cover misuse or improper care. We're here to help you protect your cherished memories, and we want to ensure you have all the information you need.

Our lifetime manufacturing warranty covers any defects that may arise from the creation of your jewellery, such as porosity. Our Annual Workshop Cover, on the other hand, is specifically designed to protect your piece from life’s little accidents, such as scratches, misshaping, or dislodged claws. It's a layer of protection that our manufacturing warranty does not provide.
The £90 fee is a one-time payment for a full year of cover. You can choose to renew it annually if you wish to continue your protection. We will not automatically renew the cover for you.
Accidental damage includes everyday knocks and bumps that can occur during wear, leading to things like scratches on the metal, misshaping of the band, loose stones, or dislodged claws. It's the unexpected wear and tear that can happen to any cherished piece of jewellery.
While your cover includes repairs, we advise using the service for genuine damage rather than minor cosmetic issues. This is because every time a ring is worked on, there is a small risk to its structural integrity. If you are nearing the end of your annual cover and haven't needed a repair, we'd recommend sending your piece to us for a complimentary inspection and professional cleaning instead. This is a great practice for ensuring the longevity of your ring and is a wonderful way to use your cover.
Making a claim is simple. Just contact us at orders@thecornishdiamondco.com and we will help you begin the repair journey. Please note that this cover is only for repairs carried out in our own workshop, and no financial payments will be made for repairs at other jewellers.
No, there is no excess fee or deductible. Once you have purchased the cover, all applicable repairs are carried out free of charge. We don't cover postage to our workshop.
This would be a highly unusual outcome, as our jewellery is designed with longevity in mind. Damage of that magnitude would likely fall under the clause of misuse or improper care, which is not included in the policy. This is assessed by our workshop manager.
